  1. Did you ever hear “The Harold Song”, “Blind”, or “Dancing With Tears In My Eyes” from her last two albums? They actually do sound different than what you’d expect from her after her singles.

  2. What do you expect Kesha to do, once a sellout, always a sellout! They would do the same thing over and over again, so as long it is marketable! This shows how little to no care they have for the music, and more about the money and fame. How sad that “artists” like Justin Bieber, Lady Gaga, Kesha, Christina Aguliera, Usher etc. would forsaken everything (especially their talents, and their souls) just for materialistic reasons?
This is what pisses me off so much about these “artists” and what they do. I mean come on, they would try EVERY freaking way to top themselves up and earn more money and more attention, even if it’s immoral, just as long as they are still “relevant” in the “music industry” (more like ‘brainwashing puppet industry’, because the “music industry” are indeed using these puppet artists to brainwash our youth into thinking that is what music is). Materialistic things will never fill up that void of joy – passion of music and not caring about getting famous or getting rich will. Just being themselves. But these “artists”, so what if they are worldwide no.1 most famous artist? You think that would last forever? Once a king took his throne, another one is gonna take over, and so on.. And would they be happy once they get all the attention from the general public? I can guarantee you they wouldn’t, or at least they wouldn’t have permanent happiness, They would try every possible way (like alcohol, drugs, clubbing etc.) to temporarily “soothe” their depression. But eventually they would think “My life on earth is meaningless. I can’t find joy even though I tried every way to do so. Goodbye cruel world!” I am sure that will happen to them eventually. Unless they wake up, look back onto their past and be ashamed of what they have become. THEN there would be a chance of revival.

They are basically ruining their own lives, so we shouldn’t even feel bad for them. If that’s the road they wanted to go, they have the right to, considering they took the easy route, but they will also have to suffer the severe consequences afterwards for whatever they did just to gain a bit of money and fame. Their life would be on a dead end street. And I’m not been harsh or wishing death to these “artists”, I’m just saying the truth.

I wish they would take the hard way, which is to take time to write their own songs because they have a passion in music, performing in gigs just to try being recognized by people around and maybe record labels who are interested in your CRAFT and not whether you are marketable or not, and then if they want to produce albums, sign into independent record labels (because most of these labels would let them have loads of freedom on how to record their own songs. They would also let the artist/band choose which producer they want to have, as long as that producer is interested in their music and want their songs to be produced well enough to appeal to their audience, and how to organize their track list once they’ve recorded everything, as well as what album artwork they would want. Once their album got successful (not as successful as major labels of course), they would be able to assist them in any way possible. Major labels are the exact opposite. On major labels, the band/artist do get really successful, but if they don’t, the major record label would drop them off right away. Correct me if I’m wrong about what I just said, but that is what I think how record companies work because I’ve seen quite a bit of behind-the-scenes of how a particular album is produced, and this is just my rough idea.). At least some people would know your name and would genuinely appreciate you as an artist by buying your albums, you have your own dignity, your morals and your principles with you, and you would be happier that way. And that is what I would like to do if I decide to become a musician.

Sorry for my long post, but I had a lot to say about the music industry and these “artists”, so much I had to rant for a little bit.
